At least, that's what they said at daycare this morning.
When
he's hungry, he will lift his shirt, point to his tummy, and say "eat."
At snacktime, he will say "snack." (Probably "ack." We do hear that
at home, but he says it for everything. Pointing to a picture of a
balloon in a book, "ack." Pointing to a green lego, "ack." Sometimes
it's "at.")
She also said that sometimes she can't understand what he's saying, but if Dexter is there, he will translate for her.
I have seen NONE of this at home.
So,
I guess I hope it's true, since it means he'll at least have a couple
of words. But it made me very sad that he will talk for them but not
for us.
