Dexter, to Dennis, who was dressed for and about to head to regular firefighter training tonight: "You going to ride in the fire truck, Dad?"
Dennis: "I'm not just going to ride in it. I'm going to DRIVE it."
Dexter: "But first you have to turn it on."
Dennis, through laughter: "Yes, I'll need to remember to turn it on first."
Dexter: "No no no. But first you have to get in."
